The South Bend Museum of Art features a full spectrum of historical and contemporary art featured in five galleries. A wide range of artistic traditions are taught in our world-class art studios. Located inside the Century Center in downtown South Bend, Indiana, the SBMA is an architectural delight. Designed by Philip Johnson and John Burgee, the museum occupies three levels in the northern wing of the building.

The South Bend Museum of Art (SBMA) is seeking large-scale two- and three-dimensional artwork for long-term display in Sightlines, a collaborative project between the SBMA and the Century Center in South Bend, IN. The two year exhibition (June 17, 2017 – May 19, 2019) will highlight 3 new artists alongside 3 current artists. $1000 stipend for each selected artist. A modest printed piece will also be produced. All artists are eligible. Indoor and outdoor sites are available and will be considered for accepted proposals. Artist submission review and selection will be by representatives from the SBMA and the Century Center. $10 entry fee. Deadline: April 1, 2017
